What does Synergy Strata Management do?

Synergy Strata Management provides a full range of services required in establishing, running, maintaining and managing strata and community titled property. In providing these services we are focused on preserving the value of your property investment through refined processes. We achieve this through long standing relationships with trusted service providers, robust financial management, strategic asset management and effective communication with all parties. Our primary interest is servicing the interests of the body corporate.

How can Synergy Strata Management help me?

A

We pride ourselves on our ability to take on challenging properties and turn them around. Prior to appointment we will provide the Body Corporate with a high level strategy for improving financial performance and efficiencies. Our staff have extensive contract procurement experience and as such we are able to review all service contracts for competitiveness.

Q

I'm unhappy with my current Body Corporate Manager.  How do I appoint Synergy Strata Management?

A

In South Australia, it is standard practice for a body corporate manager to be appointed for a 12 month contract which is renewed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).  If you could like to terminate the existing body corporate manager, either an AGM or Extraordinary Meeting (EM) will need to be held so that the corporation can conduct a vote to change body corporate manager.

At least 50% of all unit holders must be represented at this meeting, either in person or by proxy. You will need a majority vote from unit holders for the motion to carry. If the manager is successfully terminated, they have 28 days to return all funds and records to the Corporation.

 

Synergy Strata Management can then be engaged to take over management of the corporation.
